Super Bowl MVP Cooper Kupp says he saw championship victory in vision from God years earlier

Capping an incredible, historic 2021-22 season, Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Cooper Kupp was named Super Bowl MVP on Sunday night, after he helped his squad to a 23-20 victory over the Cincinnati Bengals.

---SNIP---

Following the Lombardi Trophy and Super Bowl MVP presentation, Kupp was able to enjoy the moment on the field with his family — wife Anna, and sons Cooper and Cypress. He then spoke to the media with 1-year-old Cypress on his lap.

And Kupp shared a vision he says God revealed to him three years ago as he was walking off the field after the Rams lost Super Bowl LIII, which he was unable to play in due to a torn ACL

Cooper Kupp is an EXEMPLARY athlete and human being.

You can tell by the manner in which he kept his eyes on his family and he did not raise the trophy above his shoulders. No false idols for that guy.

His sons look like girls.

Not surprising at all that Kupp is a Christian. My daughter traded for him on her fantasy football team so I watched Kupp a lot this year. Just the way he carried himself on the field was a witness. He’s a blessed man.

I naturally become suspect when someone says they have a “vision from God”...especially as it pertains to sports. I would imagine in the grand scheme of things, God doesn’t care who wins the Super Bowl. It is, of course, a great thing to give thanks to God for the ability to play and to play well regardless of the outcome.

Too bad players like Cooper Kupp and Trevor Lawrence seem to be the exceptions in that league.

Glad that the talented young man is a Christian. However, with all of the penalties called, when you get 4 chances to make the winning catch, eventually you'll make the winning catch.

I don’t think God wastes his time on petty things like superbowls

You never know how many people may have heard his words and been touched to make a change in their lives to move closer to God.

Christians are called to plant seeds....and to have the opportunity to do so on world wide television is quite a blessing.

You saw a bogus holding call in the final minutes keep your team from bombing out of the Superball in a holy vision Cooper?

Not likely...

When I see dozens of players gathered in a prayer circle at midfield at the end of every game, it gives me hope for the NFL

” I would imagine in the grand scheme of things, God doesn’t care who wins the Super Bowl.”

He rigged the game.

I also noticed that they didn't play any "black national anthem." I also didn't see any players kneeling and some were even singing the Anthem. The only one I read about who knelt in protest was some rap singer who was part of the halftime show. So there is hope.

I saw two holding Kupp and he still got though to make a catch.

I would imagine in the grand scheme of things, God doesn’t care who wins the Super Bowl.

In the grand scheme of things, God cares about everything from the galactic supercluster to the atomic subparticle.

What God cares about a particular Super Bowl is almost certainly going to be nothing at all what we care about, since His ways are not our ways and His thoughts are not our thoughts.

What God cares about is Cooper Kupp and everyone who hears his story. Nothing crazy about that!

My friend played College baseball for Oregon State. He told me at his first college game he went to the plate and made the sign of the cross, even though he wasn’t catholic. He struck out and walked back to the dugout and the first thing the coach said was that he had to pray when he got to the plate, it was too late.
