From the many posts here justifying this treatment of Kanter, one would think this was a Chinese Communist Party site.

Those posts are by people who actually follow the NBA Thugball. They are suggesting that he was only a so-so player who possibly would have met the same fate whether he was an outspoken patriot or not. Then again, maybe it was all about politics. I'll never know for sure because I eschew all sports now.
