Watch live as crowds take the streets of Ottawa, Canada to protest against the vaccine mandate on Saturday (12 January).
During the day, Canadian police moved in to remove truckers from a blockage that prevented crossing between US and Canada.
The protesters’ barricade at the Ambassador Bridge has now entered its sixth day, as protests continue in the country’s capital and Toronto.
Protesters remained overnight, despite fresh warnings to end the blockade, which has disrupted the flow of goods between the two countries.

I did not respond to this article. There is no need for this. What are you 12 years old?
I wrote my original response because my family, in Winnepeg Canada, who ARE truckers thought this was a good idea. I was excited because I had not heard it before. I shared it often because I thought it was a new and fresh idea. I had no idea what spamming even is. I apologized to the Admin and others and have not responded since.
I am sorry if my unintentional actions somehow offended you but this is enough.
In Canada they think that Americans are arrogant and think less of others because they say Americans always think they are right and Americans belittle others for any different ideas. In your case they are right.

OMG! Just saw that there are 10s of thousands of counter protester marching in Canada demanding the lock-downs and mandates stay in place and be enforced. No way we can coexist with these stupid people.

What they are doing is great! They are doing a great job and are wonderful people with a great cause. I have always been supportive. I just do not want them to be treated like our Jan 6 political prisoners. If they wind up in jail they will be forgotten just like our Jan 6 political prisoners have been.
My family in Canada is only saying that not everyone can get to Ottawa and they are suggesting that if all truckers stop Canadian commerce will come to a halt. Maybe then Trudeau will talk to them and listen to them. How is THAT a bad idea?
