He is a wise man.
(30 mins long).
Funny we don’t see people wearing Build Back Better caps.
They could try Suicide
I’ve been out of town since last July 1. I went to get the car washed today and the price is $40! This is Sunnyvale, California. The last time I splurged on a wash (about a year ago), it was $30.
I drove out and will do it myself. Prices are utterly ridiculous all over the place.
PG&E wrote to me this week and said their natural gas prices are up 95% in one year. NINETY FIVE PERCENT.
I hope people remember their happiness when they go those “free money” $1,200 stimulus checks when they start paying $3,000 to $5,000 more a year for basic necessities. And we will be paying that forever. It’s not a “transitory” inflation spike with prices settling back to they were. These price hikes are permanent and are going to get worse.
Feds probably have a warehouse of old WIN buttons they could pass out
Last week a 13 lb spiral ham was selling at Shop Rite for $80.51. Rate it is going I’m going to have to take out a loan for Easter Dinner.
My neighbor is getting a well drilled. I asked the driller how much it costs. We’re in a major Florida water shed. There’s usually good water anywhere from twenty to fifty feet down. A typical well is drilled down to seventy-five feet. The usual cost pre-Biden was anywhere from $2800 to 3200. He told me $7500-9000.
The FED knows what to do and has been quietly tightening already.
Our gasoline went up 15 cents over night. The dollar tree is charging 1.25 for everything. Dollar items on fast food menus in our area changed in the past two days. At least they still serve senior coffee but that price will probably go up as well. Our family has ordered from Schwan’s for years and years. I took a look at what I was paying for sausage links I dearly love (and so does my 14 year old beagle). 60 cents a link! I had a chat about it on-line and of course they had the standard “costs to provide have risen”. I won’t even touch on the big ticket items, the fertilizer crisis for farmers, etc. etc. etc.
he and Ross were 100% right. but we just couldn’t get anyone in the uniparty to listen to us.
Didn’t Mello Yellen say that was good?
Biden’s “Wear a sweater and inflate your tires” speech will start soon.
If bite-me wanted to curb inflation he could open the damn pipelines back up and drill baby drill.

Important note: the Biden admin just changed the formula for how they measure inflation.
If they used December’s formula, it would reveal things are *even worse.*
Under the old formula, the annual inflation would be about *8.7%,* not 7.5%.
