Every time they got something completely wrong about COVID, they told you “science changes,” but with respect to climate change they will tell you “the science is settled!

“climate alarmists” may say the science is “settled”, but they also once said -

ice age is returning
children will not know snow
dams will never fill again
etc etc etc

There is this tendency on the Left to claim virtues for exclusively their own, consigning their political opponents to the opposite vice as if they were the only arbiters. That is certainly true for abstractions such as peace and freedom, but now we have them claiming ownership of science as well, interesting because most of those making that claim have no or very limited scientific credentials. But because it's science they do get found out, sometimes soon, sometimes later.

This is a difficult thing to argue with people for whom there is no truth outside of opinion and consensus. But there really is an objective reality and if you don't keep your eye on that little bugger, it'll kill you.
