She basically took up where Sly Stone left off when he left his band. Really underrated.

Mariah Carey just remarked: “I don’t know her.”

Maybe at first, but then realized I still had no idea who this was.

Most people don’t know who she is.

Ive heard worse.
Did anyone understand what she was saying...
“...you can crush my belt, dont rub on my feather speed butt”?
I listened to that line 2 dozen times and thats what Im hearing but that doesnt make any sense.

(Hive minded liberals worship leaders, sovereign conservatives elect servants.)
Never heard her music.
Guess she has Betty Davis eyes . . .

Just watched her in an episode of perry mason . There was a moment where Burger seemed to be really awe struck at the whole thing and was trying to hold his delight
All of the leads of perry mason died of cancer except maybe della street
To: RummyChick
I remember that one.
William Hopper had a stroke.
Ray Collins died of Emphysema.

Sounds like she had been around the block quite a few times. And that was before she was old enough to drive.
Must have loved the hard living to have done so much of it.
Sassy songs and sassy style. Uh huh
To: nickcarraway
The warm conversation came to an abrupt end when one of them asked her “what happened” that made her walk away from entertainment; her reply was simply, “Well, it was nice talking to you.”Hate tight-lipped people. (I suspect that, in most cases, it conceals a profound haughtiness.) Her bandmates deserved an honest answer.

I have an aunt named Betty Davis but she died a long time ago. This is old news I think.
