I worked in Ohio for a while. I never did
aquire a taste for their chili. There
was a joint called Skyline Chili that
ladeled the stuff over spaghetti just
as your pic shows....yuk.

Skyline is the undisputed King in Cincy. I live 2 minutes from a Skyline and 5 minutes from 2 Gold Star Chili joints. They are always pretty busy. Guess ya gotta live here to acquire the taste but the locals love the stuff. I’m partial to the Skyline burrito with chili, beans, onions and topped with lettuce and tomatoes and sour cream. Good eatin. The Cheese Coney dogs are also a fav of mine, mustard, onion and chili over a small dog on a small bun, can eat in two or three bites.

Yes, Skyline is the #1 chili chain in the region.

The three-way is excellent. (That’s what’s in the picture.) I actually somewhat prefer Cincinnati style (maybe it’s because my parents came from there), but I like Texas chili as well.

I ate at a Cinci themed restaurant in NC and ordered the chili not knowing anything about it.

My first thought when it was brought to the table was, WTF is this?
