Sorry--this was way too light a punishment.
If he ever returned tot he game it would be too light of a punishment.

Used to be common in hockey, as were glorious fights. Then they turned it into figure skating.

Brad Marchand has got be the ugliest active pro sports athlete. I saw a side profile picture of him (that I cannot find) and he is butt ugly.
To: ShadowAce
It was a Rick move. I don't care if Jarry told him he banged his mom last night. Did not justify that. Especially the stick to the face.

I'd only imagine what they'd do to Dave Schultz if he still played.

Back in the Dave Schultz era, things like this were common.

The plate was acrylic, but yes, stuff like this happened a lot in hockey.

Historical question. Didn’t a high profile player get permanently expelled from the NHL for attacking and injuring a referee during a brawl on the ice?😲

Is Brad Marchand still trying to lick players cheeks on face-off?

Teddy Green with a steel plate in his head? Eddie Shore almost killing Ace Bailey? Both of your examples were Boston Bruins.
Maybe we should just ban the city from having a hockey team.
