I have been a Monarchist for as long as I can remember. Being of United Empire Loyalist stock, my ancestors chose George of Hanover, rather than George (of) Washington and had to leave Virginia quickly, losing everything, in 1783 and moving to Nova Scotia. As Queen Elizabeth II remains on the throne, I will remain a staunch Monarchist. When Charles inherits the throne, my ‘Monarchist’ days are done. At 73, he is not about to change, and is not about to gain the wisdom, grace, love of her people and country, intelligence and ‘gravitas’ that HM Queen Elizabeth II demonstrates.

Queen Elizabeth II is an amazing, honourable Christian woman who, despite being royalty, CHOSE, against her father’s wishes, to join the UK military during WW2. As heir apparent to the UK throne, she never served in a battle zone, but her presence, in uniform AND getting dirty repairing and driving military trucks, was worth much more to the UK war effort than ANYTHING she could have accomplished overseas.

AFA Harry, he obviously inherited too much from his father, such as a mouth that runs on, while often disconnected from the brain.

God save Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II. AFA the rest of the brood, meh!

I like Prince William, even with his climate nonsense. He has his mother's compassion.
