I doubt they lied — too easy to catch and the consequences of a deliberate lie in an idictment are substantial.
I suspect Harris or Harris’s people lied to the justice dept. The question of why they did that would unravel this mess.
Tucker pointed out some interesting unanswered questions and coincidences.

Facial recognition maybe but she could be identified by her walk. I think it is a female. Check the walk near the end of the video on some street.

They have video of the perp using a CELL PHONE. And they can’t find the perp from cell phone tower records?!?!? I’m calling BS - this whole thing is going to be revealed when the GOP takes the House and Senate.
I used to have a high level of faith and confidence in the FBI. The only one I had greater faith in would be The Pope, me being Catholic.
Now, I don’t have much faith and confidence in either.

At that time of night, especially in January with no tourists...it’d probably be fewer than 10 people to review. Anyone with the right build...would automatically move up on the list.
After more than a year, the FBI claims it has no leads on the bomb planter, despite substantial video data. And if you look at the videos that have been released, it is really tough to make out much of use, because of the amount of face covering on the perp.
But here’s part of a reply I got a couple of days ago on FR in a thread that treated video recognition, and where it’s likely to be heading:
“In future, concealing your face may not be enough due to gait recognition - turns out no two people walk alike. That’s going to be a while since unlike facial recognition, there’s no nice ready made databases to compare a subject’s gait to. Facial recognition works off existing identification databases, driver’s license databases, military/criminal/prison databases, some can even search social media.”
If one looks at the videos of the pipe-bomb planter, there’s a fair bit showing that character walking, and the gait of that individual is in fact somewhat distinctive.
The FBI Agents, their undercovers. Or the Capitol Police and their undercovers. Or a combination of the two.
How about the Capitol Police with directions from Pelosi?

I also find it interesting that it was HARRIS’s staff that “found” the bomb. A new detail making the whole thing even more suspect. Wasn’t she in on the Jussie Smollet(sp) hoax, too?
