I think your missing something SkyDancer.
I’m the future, with even more tax money forcibly taken from you, me and everyone else, the technology will exist that will enable the batteries to run for a year without charging. But we need to have more of our money stolen from us for that to happen.
By the time that happens the Millenium Falcon will be making the Kessel Run even faster than it do the first first time……../sarc
