The true crime story of American serial killer Leonard Thomas Lake and his accomplice Charles Ng. The documentary starts with the cyanide poisoning suicide of Lake, the ensuing investigation, and the horrors that were discovered.
Despite having Charles Ng on video tape torturing a woman murdered it cost California 6.6 million Dollars (in 1992 money) to convict him! Furthermore they had to literally use a 36 foot long moving van stuffed full of photos, evidence, court hearing minutes and legal motions etc.
90 minutes long.
Something so extreme and egregious must involve demon possession.

I don’t remember her very well, but looked her up:

It does say due to Ng outbursts the judge ordered him to wear a remote control electric stun belt in trial. The bailiff was given the remote.
OMG I could have had some fun with that.
And now we have a huge swath of the judiciary who are all just like Rose Bird.
And, sadly, Rose Bird was more qualified than Sonia Sotomayor - so far has the judiciary fallen.
Coild be, but it coild also just be people totally,given over to their depraved fantasies that they no longer fight the despicable urges. There comes a point where God stops trying to call,a person who,has committed themselves to depravity, and at thay point, the holy,spirit is no longer a constraining voice in their lives because the person has shut their conscience down to his wooing.

Just extraditing him from Canada alone took years of wrangling.
Yup. Even Jeffrey Dahmer recognized it (albeit to late) and tried to warn people not to muck around with lusts and desires because they get to a point where it takes more and more to satisfy them, and then one day the person finds they have crossed a line that can’t be uncrossed.. that line is where the conscience gets willingly seared by the person, and they are gone spiritually for the most part.

You know another factor brought on by this trial are these immunity deals to testify. Lake’s wife went to the murder cabin AFTER she was specifically told by police to stay off site then unbelievably she “cleaned” it up with Lake’s Mommy’s help.
At first I thought she was trying to hide evidence to help her husband then it hit me she just as likely was destroying evidence of her involvement. Yet she was still given the deal in return for testimony.
