Japan has confirmed its first case of a new coronavirus from China, the health ministry said Thursday.
A Chinese national who has traveled to Wuhan, eastern China, tested positive in Japan, the ministry said. The man in his 30s man lives in Kanagawa Prefecture. He returned from Wuhan on Jan. 6 and was hospitalized on Jan. 10. He has already recovered and was discharged from the hospital on Wednesday, the ministry said.
A ministry official said there are no other confirmed cases in Japan.

What a long strange trip it has been, with new phrases and words such as masking, social distancing, flatten the curve, cancel culture, etc.
I remember when the reports came in about the first cases here, I got that sinking feeling, that this was going to doom Trump.
COVID was like manna from Heaven for the Anti-Trumpers, the perfect “No Win” situation.
A month before that article I had spent a long time with a lawyer who was hired by the DNC to help ‘secure’ Florida for the Democrats. She even expected Trump to win, but was ready to pounce if she saw an opening (the RNC didn’t bother, at all, preparing like that).
Unleashing the virus, especially with the timing, was BRILLIANT on the part of China and Fauchi. Whether we like it or not, the Left is FAR SMARTER than our side.
I would say those who pull the strings of the left are smarter.
However, those of us who want tradition and freedom on the right seem to be smarter and more well-informed on issues relying less on what we are told to think.
