The Milb Class A franchise in Lexington prior to downsizing the minors was quite successful. Never understood why they were cut loose from a MLB operating agreement.

I used to go to a few Lexington Legends games. I kept expecting the teams to have someone who was hitting, say .365 against A-ball pitching and ready to move up. I never saw them. Most of the players were hitting around .260 or so.
