Why are these miracle substances always in veggies like broccoli and Brussels sprouts? Why aren’t they ever in chocolate cheese cake or bacon?

I see no reason that eating broccoli should affect my bacon consumption one iota!

Broccoli can be delicious if it’s covered with home made hollandaise sauce or if the sprouts are added to a smoothie (for vegans).

Wonder if it also has beneficial effects on peripheral neuropathy, though.

Anybody know?

I love broccoli. Steam it and put a little lemon butter on it. Or a nice sauce I like from Trader Joe: Soyaki.

I’m taking Lion’s Mane drops. Just found a Lion’s Mane mushroom in my nearby Natural Grocer.
$15/lb, I got half a pound. Now I have to figure out what to do with it. Do you know how to cook it?

I steam broccoli and add it to my baked potato, with butter, bacon, and cheddar cheese.

That looks and sounds good. I love broccoli. It’s good on baked potato with Cheddar cheese. Real cheese — not the polyester slime.

No, I don't know how to cook anything! The Lion's Mane extract I use is in either tincture or powder form, with the fruit body and mycelium in specified ratios. I am imagining that you would need to consume a considerable amount of the original mushroom material to get much medicinal benefit, but maybe that isn't your goal anyway.

I love broccoli. If I eat it for a week strait, raw, or not overly cooked, I notice a definite difference in my skin. Why I don’t eat it much is beyond me?

Is it because, “Eat it! It’s GOOD for you!” Old habits die hard. :D

That sounds pretty good.

Anyway, here is my "vile weed" graphic I couldn't post earlier while I was on my phone.
