For one thing, the Negro seems to unable to control himself.
For another thing he disrespects the White man.
For another thing it presumes that the spitter pays taxes.
That TurboTax commercial makes no sense whatsoever, IMO.
Now, the washing machine ad is interesting, but Asians have a warped sense of humor.

I make the assertion that including so many blacks in ads is racist towards black people.
The advertisers basically believe black people are so gullible they’ll buy their product just because the ads have black people in it.

I used Turbo Tax one year, and found it didn't do certain things I needed to do, or maybe I couldn't figure out how to do them. On a tip from another FReeper, I tried TaxAct the next year, it handed my my particular issues just fine, and I have stayed with it for about 8 years. I like it a lot, though it's considerably more expensive now.
They revamped the desktop user interface considerably for 2021 and it's much improved once you get used to it.
It's a freaking TV commercial. No ad agency in its right mind makes commercials to offend people, they make them to sell their product. Obviously, this one pushes some buttons out here in the hinterlands, but I'm sure they didn't set about to offend you.
There are about a billion things more important to worry about than a 30-second commercial for a tax preparer.

This is worse than the commercial about health insurance where the black father tells the world that he and his son have some ridiculously lower chance of getting health insurance and that it’ll be more expensive than a white persons insurance.
But not as bad as the other one where all the black college kids are talking about how they always get paid less than the white guy/gal.
I commented the other day, on another thread about a buddy of mine. High up in one of the banks. Been ordered to hire black females only. Been with the bank for a long time and climbed the ladder through hard work. He’s looking for a way out because he’s smart enough to know it won’t end well for him.
Agreed. Why cannot we get beyond slight ‘racism’ when there are more important issues facing us? I just think we are picking a scab. Let us pick our battles.
