Police officer should take his hat off in church

In the long Gov.Whitmer ordered total lockdowns here in Michigan in 2020 they made sure to check up on churches and synagogues to make sure groups who inquired about gathering were stopped cold.
“Essential” and still open just fine were liquor stores (as abrupt end to drinking causes violence) and legal marijuana stores (for the tax revenues). And all abortion centers (for women’s “health”). No mentions of the babies’ health was made and they couldn’t comment due to being murdered.

How long will the Aussies continue put up with this tyranny? I guess the possibility of armed revolt isn’t on the table as the Aussies gave up their guns years ago.

They traded their brown shirts for blue/black.

Here in America, many of us shoot strangers that barge into our houses unannounced, uninvited, and without warrants. Australia can’t even do that because they gave up their guns to make themselves feel better. Tough darts Australia.

This is an entirely different Australia when my ship pulled in for shore leave sometime 80's. We were tied up to a small pier in Bunbury in western Perth region.
It was our 4th of July weekend and they couldn't be more gracious and thankful for American efforts from WWII and on. They even opened up their bars, clubs, other venues on a Sunday. It was the best liberty I experienced in my 11 years Navy. In all my ports, I never met such accommodating folks.
At that time Australia was a reflection of America's values of liberty and justice. Their Constitution was very similar to ours, as happened in many countries in the World. I don't know where they went wrong...haven't followed their politics. I suspect it's the same ole thing...the gimmedats voted in the wrong people.

We had a port call in Canada. Came across a sign on a bar door. No American sailors allowed.

Don't know why this is news in the USA and Canada as many states have enforced mask mandates in churches. It doesn't take long to find many instances in the USA and Canada on a web searches and the way the Canadian police treated a Christian pastor really looks bad. In all cases it it ridiculous that they even have mask mandates.
To: unixfox
We didn't hand over our guns in Australia. In fact there are more guns now than before the restrictions and the average gun owner has twice as many. I didn't see Americans nor Canadian do anything about their masks mandates in very similar events as in Perth. In any event, there shouldn't be any mask mandates as they simply do not work.

No we didn't give up our guns. In fact, since the restrictions there are more guns in Australia than ever and the average gun owner has twice as many guns. It looks like Americans are big talkers about guns, but when the police enforced mask mandates in the states in very similar a manner in Perth and were even more violent, I didn't see the Americans do anything about it. And it is even worse in Canada.
