Due to no fault of my own, from my neurofibromatosis and cherubism I am missing most of my teeth and have a noted jaw deformity. As a result I am denied almost every job I apply for even though I meet the qualifications. Also I have seen well over one dozen dentists and oral surgeons and all agree there is no chance for any restorative work to be done. As a result I do not feel for any of these people who complain about not getting a job over something which they are in 100% control of.

Not getting a job because of an uncontrollable health condition that doesn’t affect you’re job performance is wrong...

I get the fact that a company wants someone to be fun...

But as a customer, I don’t want someone to greet me with a “wassup, wassup, wassup...” when they are ringing up my groceries, or cutting my deli order. Regardless of race or gender.

Like it or not, recruiter uses the conduct of VM messages, emails, and yes, social media, as a means to vet and weed out their candidates. It’s not any kind of secret that they see it as a reflection of your personality as a worker, right or wrong.
