These actions on the part of the Biden administration could simply be an attempt to preempt a repeat of the actions taken by Germany in Central Europe in 1939/1941. Prior to Germany taking over Austria, Germany contrived to get certain politicians into power in Austria while creating chaos. This resulted in these Austrians requesting Germany to intervene to stop the internal strife. Then in Poland the Germans faked a raid resulting in the destruction of a radio station and left the bodies of several prisoners they had killed to justify their attack on Poland.
I've thought of that as well but I'm just not sure because my trust of Biden and the Democrats is extremely low.
