590 hp into a 2.0-liter three-cylinder fossil free-fuel engine
I am sorry, but I do not believe that a 120 cubic inches at 590 hp will endure long if it is pushed touse those 590 horses on a regular basis. No replacement for displacement.

An improvement on the flux capacitor?
I dont think so.

This is just the beginning.
We are at the ‘Model T’ era of true electric vehicles..............

I love it when they talk dirty.

Agreed, but not quite yet. We’re still waiting for the Model T of electric cars. The current contenders are more like pricy, gimmicky toys.

Is Nm no longer nanometers?

The motors aren't really an issue. On board energy storage or generation is the limiting factor right now.

Newton/meters I’d guess.

Well and good but the masses, me included, won’t buy an electric because of its acceleration.

YASA is already making YASA 750R motors are connected together like a three-rotor rotary engine to power the Rolls Royce ACCEL electric speed record setting airplane.

Nm is Newton metre, a unit of torque. The symbol for nanometre is nm. Note the difference in case.

See post #15. Newton/meter is not correct. Newton is kilogram_metre/sec^2 so Newton/metre would be kilogram/sec^2 a nonsense unit.

Okay, I did find 1 Newtonmeter = 0.7376 ft/lb.
I've had SAE torque wrenches, one metric kg and one small Nm wrench that got lost and went to seat-snug.
Just have never seen one for Newtonmeters.

Okay, must have been nm in the shop manuals.

I run into that all the time. The worst one is Kg which means Kelvin.gram a nonsense unit, instead of kg, kilogram a unit of mass.
