I hate the term cognate receptor used this way. Cognate doesn’t mean that and even accepting the usage, it’s redundant.

Why do you include this highly specialized scientific text here, on a FR page? Learned how to copy and paste yesterday and are excited about that? It may be a surprise to you, but every scientific paper has a small part (usually in the end) called Conclusions. That’s what the readers of FR blog would be interested to read about….
