I read your 2 responses and hear you saying, “that cant happen in Canada.”
In response I’ll point to the Congress of the US calling the Jan 6 protest an “insurrection” to allow Pelosi’s Capitol Police to indefinitely jail political prisoners.
Or, the intelligence community conspiring to remove the legitimate President through fabricated evidence.
The Canadian government is sending all the sugnals that they will finf a “poljcing solution” to the Freedom Drivers protest.
Rather than approach it civilly.
Please excuse errors. Phonr faggin

I’m not sure we’re talking about the same thing, CDY. I was referring to the military coming in and breaking up the protest for trudeau and the city. The Capitol Police are Pelosi’s private goon squad. They’re not the military.
The best predictor of future behaviour is past behaviour, and calling in the Canadian military against citizens has already happened TWICE in our history, so yes it can happen in Canada. I just don’t think it will on this occasion. There were commissions established after the last two times to review the necessity and advisability of using military force against citizens. Each were critical of the decision, in spite of the fact that both were, arguably, more dangerous protests than the trucker protest because the protesters were armed and using deadly force.
Having said that, it isn’t out of the question that trudeau would call in “supplemental” forces of some sort (UN blue helmets, chinese “security”) to try to force the truckers out. But it seems that using the military is not an option right now.
