In the Resurrection of Jesus the Christ, death was turned on its head!
Death no longer has the sting of a punishment for sin.
Death has become a reward for the good and faithful servant.
Death is a goal for the faithful.
Be of good cheer that death has become God’s glorious gift to us.

Our little church band will be leading this one at the end of next week’s worship service, and while playing, I’ll be thinking of Greeneyes, as well as all the FRens here who have recently lost loved ones.
