Hundreds of protesters have gathered outside Australian Parliament House as part of a Millions March Against Mandatory Vaccination rally.
The rally was inspired by similar protests overseas, particularly in Canada where truck drivers and supporters rallied against vaccine mandates and called for the repeal of all public health measures.
Police have urged motorists to avoid roads around Parliament House and bus services have been suspended around the building.
The Canberra Times understands that protesters plan to stay in the capital until after the first sitting of Parliament for the year on February 8. The march is also known as 2022 Official Convoy to Canberra Terra Australis.
Truck drivers, motorists and other supporters have gathered from around the country.

Truckers from Kawartha Lakes met in Linsday early Saturday morning to join the Freedom Convoy to Ottawa. The group says they are protesting vaccine mandates, masks and other COVID restrictions and won’t leave Ottawa until they are dropped. A number of local residents also joined the convoy.

The Western Convoy was unable to make it all the way into downtown Ottawa.
This clip shows a grader and snow plow along with police blocking the route.
Many protestors walked the 2.5 kilometres to welcome the arrival of the convoy.

I feel guilty for not being up there with the Canadians. We need to find the right way to organize something big. Sure, I drove all the way to DC for the January 6th Stop the Steal Rally only to have Big Media and the Deep State steal the story on the rally and seal the steal on the election. But that was over a year ago. We can’t let them stop us from taking to the streets. We have to risk it and fight the Left’s propaganda.
There will be mass rebellion around the world. This is just the beginning.....
