Like crap. The way I feel at the moment. I got some sort of nasty bug - throwing up, my throat is swollen and sore, back spasms, and I got the chills. My step-son wanted us to come over for Sunday dinner, but there’s no way I’d get around them or the kids in the shape I’m in. I had my six month Thursday, and my doc is referring me to a neurologist, first, then maybe a cardiologist. Blood work looked a little better, though, and I did score some hydrocodone out of the trip. LOL Thing is, I thought I may have picked up this bug at his office, but they’re still into the whole masking thing, and I didn’t start to feel bad until Friday night, so I could only have picked it up at Walmart. I need a brandy. We caught a little rain and flurries at the tail end of that snowstorm and the temps dropped like a stone afterwards, so that way have tipped it over the edge. How’s things with you?

Sorry to hear it. Take care of yourself. Skip the brandy!

Things are fine here, only got an inch of snow from the storm but the high today is in the upper twenties. It’s been a very cold winter and Feb is the peak so kind of hold up inside and staying warm.

Hi Gina, sorry just posted to Viking. I’m good up here. Sous vide’d a brisket flat this weekend and while it was tender it’s not as good as a normal one.

Nothing like holing up for the winter, like a rabbit. And I concur - this winter has been much colder than last year. Connie was texting her son, and he had this bug all of last weekend. He said it was terrible. His wife and the girls caught it next, and they’re just getting over it. Whatever it is, it’s a mean sucker. It’s moments like this that I’m glad I finally listened and got that four-wheeled walker.

We’re just doing McCormick roasting bag chicken breasts and baby fingerling potatoes tonight. I don’t know if or how much I may eat this evening. I threw up in the bathroom sink a little while ago, and there’s nothing but liquid in me, but I did it so hard, I gave myself a nosebleed. LOL I still have to make a quick Dollar General run - the missus is into her nightly Lime-O-Ritas and isn’t going to drive at this point.
