BB gun battles were one of our favorite things to do when we were 9-14 years old. We’d get four to seven guys on each side (offense and defense) and head for the woods. No head shots allowed but nobody was counting! I remember getting some nice stinging welts from close range fire.

My father first taught me how to use firearms when I was six. I was negligent and did not teach my kids until my oldest was nine. In all fairness, I didn’t have anywhere for them to shoot until my oldest was nine.
