Am I the only one who doesn’t understand a 3 hour? podcast? How does anyone carve out that much time, not to mention patience?
I will watch them in segments
It certainly bucks the trend but millions watch/listen to them.
You must have never listened to The Great el Rushbo (RIP) either then.
A lot of people listen to podcasts on their drive time. I do.

I listen when I want, while driving often breaking up the episode into several chunks. No necessity to listen continuously.
I drive for a living. All of my podcasts are downloaded and ready to go. When I cook in the kitchen, take a shower, all of those moments you can listen.
I put them on in the background when I am doing something else. Sometimes you don’t notice how much time has gone by. I also watch them in segments.
It’s our job. I do a one-hour webcast every week on a different historical topic. For someone like Rogan, it’s his work.
I listen to them while doing chores and housework.
Have you never read a book for three hours?
Ever watch a 3 hour movie?
Ever watch an NFL game?
You can also hit “pause”.
I set the playback speed at 1.25 or 1.5 depending on the manner of speech of the guests. That helps.
Especially if you can play it at a faster speed, avoid commercials, and listen to it like the radio while doing other stuff it can work.
Joe’s not generally my cup of tea, but I am glad he is getting more good stuff out there.
Real dialog, questioning and follow on that Rogan does takes time. Think William F. Buckley and Tim Russert in their Prime if they gave them all the time they really wanted instead of a 1/2 to 1 hr - minus the commercial's.
Listen in chunks on car rides (my 20 to 30 min commute when I go to work) and turn the speed up to 1.25 or 1.5x.
You can get a lot more in. However some of the people he talks to really require a lot of focus and maybe a notebook. The recent Jordan Peterson interview was one of these.
Regardless of Rogan's politics....
Their is a phenomenon labeled by Michael Shellenburger, who is pro-nuclear & clean up homeless/drug/addiction/mental health issues with a model based in the Netherlands and that is The Intellectual Dark Web..
Cancel culture will not let Rogan, Shullenburger, Jeff Rubin, Greenwald etc etc speak. They are men of the left, and they are on a screed that liberty is being lost and many are listening to them. Many times they sound like us here.
Listen to these guys and Jocko Willink, heck Jocko started his "Jocko Underground" in fear of sensorship, and he mostly talks about Military History and Self Improvement!!!
These people and big hat tip to Bongino (& Rubin a business partner) for creating a parallel ecosystem of Video, E-Print and also Finance/Banking.
They are politely saying, cancel this. My guess in a few years if Bongino's efforts go they way I think they will, he and all his partners will be very weatlhy as many walk away even more from the likes of CNN etc.
