When the people stop believing the government and the media

Arguably the USSR crumbled because everybody was lying to everybody else, so that nothing could be believed, including (especially) economic transactions.

With the Biden Administration, the US has entered this same territory. Anyone paying attention can see that the occupant of the White House lapses into dementia on a regular and accelerating basis. In moments of crisis, he is quietly sent out to have some ice cream and go shopping while the hidden hands that make the real decisions (and make them badly) take over.

The propaganda efforts, a joint project of the media and the progressives in control of the Biden administration, no longer even attempt a veneer of plausibility, contradicting the everyday direct experiences of Americans:

… the USDA claims: "2021 retail food price inflation continued at same pace as 2020…."

Our media are now owned by half a dozen transnationals, with the practical effect that they all collude in their "narratives," leaving us surrounded by lies. This is not just a moral and ethical challenge, but it's also immensely impractical for a fairly free market, which freezes when info is centralized. The media owners and colluders have all the info, the free market has very little.

Everybody in the USSR knew that everyone was lying to everyone. And they knew that for decades. But that alone was not enough.

It was CHERNOBYL, both itself and the lies about the disaster, which led to the destruction of communism.

The nobility in France was hated for a very long time, hated for their arrogance and indifference, but it took a year long famine and a long frigid winter on top of that to effect the revolution.

People here know. Not for as long as France and Russia, but they know, in greater numbers every day.

BUT IMO it will take a great galvanizing event or circumstance to create the right conditions to overthrow our oppressors.

Wasn’t there some English king that shook hands with trees and claim to see the king in France?

Too much painful truth in this one to ignore.

The media and federal government are the criminals.

Media monopolies that collude to push the same propaganda are raw evil.

It is not just that they need to be broken up into a thousand pieces—their senior executives and Board of Directors need to be put on trial for crimes against humanity.

Old Soviet joke:

Two men meet in the Moscow train station. “Where are you going?” says the first man.

“To Minsk,” says the second.

“To Minsk, eh? What a nerve you have! I know you’re telling me you’re going to Minsk because you want me to think that you’re really going to Pinsk. But it so happens that I know you really are going to Minsk. So why are you lying to me?”

An American Bastille Day is most definitely coming.

All those filthy, stinking, evil propogandist at CNN, MSNBC, ABC, CBS, PBS, NPR, FoxNews, New York Slimes, Washington Compost, ChiCongo Tribune, LA Slimes, etc, etc, are not going to escape the severe punishment headed their way.

The last statements from Scarborough, Hayes and Lemon will be something like “We were just doing are jobs to get ratings”.

The response they receive will be “blindfold or cigarette”.

Re #9:

The amazing thing is, they are liars and propagandists for evil, but think they are untouchable.

Not so bold prediction here: Alternative media will be crushed by government agencies: FBI, DOJ, IRS, OSHA, FEC, etc. They have all the power, and their resources are unlimited.

The media has been lying since William Randolph Hearst.

And the government for at least 100 years.

"The media has been lying since William Randolph Hearst."
The media was lying long before William Randolph Hearst came along. Everything considered, Hearst wasn't as bad as portrayed by the left or Holywood. My mother was a reporter at the old Washington Times. She said Hearst was the best boss she ever worked for.

“I stopped believing in the government and most of the media when Clinton was president.”

I stopped believing in the government and most of the media when Jack Ruby shot Lee Harvey Oswald and the “official version” was Ruby did it because he was so upset about the murder of JFK.
