Tom Brady is retiring from football after 22 extraordinary seasons, multiple sources tell @JeffDarlington and me.

Here it is.

Last year would have been better, but he did have a really good 2021 season. Glad to see he is getting out before getting seriously hurt or embarrassed.
Love him or hate him there’s no denying the claim that he’s one of the best ever
Now the Bucs can go back to sucking.
Maybe the Green Bay guy would like the warm weather and no income tax? I saw he sold his house in Calif.
Packer fan?
Why would he do that?
Bigger deal. I retired last century (1986). 😁
Maybe NOT

JUST IN: Tom Brady Sr. tells @kron4news
that his son is not retiring. Brady Sr. says an online publication started circulating an unsubstantiated rumor. However a number of NFL insiders are now reporting it. @kron4news

How many Super Bowls has the admittedly great Aaron Rogers won?
With how many teams?
Always had mixed feelings about Brady, me being a Joe Montana accolade back in the day. Joe had his days and has now been surpassed by Brady and. Is those coming up behind him. Sports is always entertainment and watching Montana to Rice was poetry in those days.
Brady should retire before the body gives out. Despite losing the last game he will be leaving at his peak. Last weekends football games will be remembered in lore. All of those teams gave their all in spectacular displays of the sport. Brady will be remembered for taking part not only in that—but for all his great past achievements.
“Quit while you’re ahead”: that’s always been good advice.
I thought a goat was a 60’s muscle car?

I think you’re right. The right conditions would lure him back.
Fake news
Funny, Rogers began his football as a 5’3” player in Oroville, California. Overlooked, he went to Junior College before entering the U. of California. About 100 miles away, Tom Brady played at a peninsula high school not far from the Stanford U. campus. Stanford passed on him, and he played occasionally at Michigan before entering the NFL draft. Both men have had the drive that led to personal success. When they both go, there will be a sadness, just as there was when Montana and Dan Marino retired.
Good. He’s still healthy.
I thought Brady looked like a shadow of himself in that last game. His throws were missing the mark and coming up short a lot. Whether he retires or not I don’t see him winning another Super Bowl. If I were him I’d leave while people were calling me the goat and not after my skills become obviously diminished.
Or not
Difference is that no one cares. Heck I retired a couple years ago to absolutely ZERO fanfare...
