Thanks. Both are more obscure records, but still worth keeping. I wonder how many hundreds of “official” records there are in the NHL for players (excluding goalies).
I imagine that the regular season overtime assist is the more impressive of these two records, though that at first seems counterintuitive.
I haven’t followed an NHL all-star game in 4-7 years, but the last one that I did follow seemed to demonstrate that players didn’t want to get hurt by playing aggressive defense in essentially a meaningless game with the result that goals (and assists) were being handed out like Ben Biernacki handing out liquidity.
It's really gotten kind of silly, in my humble opinion. LOL.
