I’m growing seedless grapes, (Somerset, light red) but they seem to be crossing with the local wild grapes, so I am getting some seeds and a lot of them turned purple anyway!
Crossing wouldn't change the fruit like that, unless you grew out the crossed seeds. Sounds like maybe a graft failed, and you're seeing fruit from the rootstock.

Yeah, I thought of that, too, after posting. I DID buy them at Walmart, so anything goes!
Either way, the grapes are really good and made fantastic juice.
I had ‘King of the North’ at my other farm, and I didn’t bring any along. The drought year of 2012 was an amazing production year for them. My FIL (at the time) was an avid grape grower, so not only did I have a ton of my own grapes, but he kept leaving me 5-gallon buckets of grapes on the porch every few days. It was an embarrassment of riches that season. :)
