I used to grow the German Beer Radish for my Grandpa. He'd make a HUGE production out of it with the thinly sliced radishes (they ARE strong!), Kosher salt, freshly ground pepper, a glass of beer and buttered dark rye bread.
Lunch is served! Ein Prosit!
