I’m just reacting to the numbers. It’s a country of only 38 million. For over 1.4 million to travel to Ottowa is a lot.
I hope their efforts are successful. I know a lot of Canadians have left the country altogether and are living in freer states in the U.S. and Mexico and elsewhere to avoid the lockdowns & resulting mess in Canada.

"Sadly... JT had to go into isolation because he was in contact with a person who had Covid... Except the new rules are.. You don’t have to isolate... So he is needlessly isolating to avoid a confrontation with the truckers... He is such a low life, ignorant little pissant."

HA HA HA he thinks they'll be gone on Jan 30! Hope he enjoys hiding out in his basement! he may have to stay there for two years to "flatten the curve"

He is in the Chinese pocket. He could care less about Canada.

Have you lived in Canada? I have, in Ontario. First week of January through mid- February - highest temp was about -5F and dropped to -40F a number of times. About 8ft of snow. Schools open, businesses open, the city open, highways and secondary roads open, sidewalks open. Unless it's a white out blizzard, Canada is open. Trucks roll.

Dress warm or popsicle.

Trudeau had quite a glowing tribute to Castro after his death.

I grew up in Montana and I remember in the 1970s being sent to school in -40°F weather.

Did some business with a company in Regina, Saskatchewan. They told me about going to work on a frigid day and riding in a car with “square tires” ;-)

A toast to Canadians everywhere. The truckers are energizing a lot of freedom loving people in the Great White North.

Love it!

No one knows the number going to Ottawa but the takeaway from the Tucker interview of Benjamin Dichter last night was that he was speaking directly to the truckers who perhaps are the ‘vaxxed ones’... and Dichter in no uncertain terms told them that this had almost nothing to do with vaccination requirements than it had to do with the ‘surveillance state’ they all find themselves in. And that includes all truckers on both sides of the border.....in fact it of course includes everyone.

Tell ya one thing that will scare the crap out of the politicians is if they see that truckers’ fund balloon from its current $6 million to something say 10 times that much and do that all before the final push is made into Ottawa. That is the real score card of how much support they have!

Incidentally I was at one of the overpasses yesterday... I deliberately went to one well out of town that didn’t even have a pedestrian walkway on it. I got there about 45 minutes before the first trucks were supposed to roll through and wasn’t expecting to find many people there. Much to my amazement, the bridge was wall to wall people... so many that people had climbed down the side and were lining both sides under the bridge for quite a ways down the road. It was stunning to see that many people at such an out of the way overpass location that had no on-off ramps, just out in the country. While there, I chatted with lots of people who I had never met before and while I wasn’t looking for this information, there much have been at least 10 people who informed me that they were going to Ottawa this weekend as well.

It would be really silly to underestimate how big this has become and last night I posted some thoughts on what the wild cards are with this on post 47 here… https://freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/4033236/posts The real wild cards are the one I mentioned (the rest of the truckers who have not been part of the Freedom Drive to Ottawa) and all the truckers south of the border and what they are planning to do. As I said in my earlier post, “The second wild card is the support of U.S. truckers and they have plenty of reasons to support the Canadians since they cross the same border..... Many U.S. drivers are already in support of what the Canadians are doing but if this continues to increase and if they shut the border down (or pray tell start their own drive to DC), the ratchetting of this just went on nitro....”

What happens when they get to Ottawa tells us what happens next for everyone, everywhere. I’m also interested to see if this convoy concept spreads south. It would be an explosive event in the USA.
