“Your litmus test is not practical, and no one is going to join you.”
Well you can let the Dems win then.
Rand Paul or any politician can make amends by explicitly stating they were wrong not to object, that the election was fraudulent and Biden did not win and is illegitimate.
But as it stands, Paul, a second generation career politician (like the Bushes) supported the steal.
What you’re not opposed to is being disingenuous and pushing narrative.
Empty narrative straight from the swamp is what you push.
Looks an American version of Milania.
i’ve known about Trump since before the groundbreaking for the twin towers.
piticians, once out of office, should be recycled like jimmy hoffa, for the security of the state.
re: “ cosmological whatzadingies”, idc.
He will endorse a RINO who wins over a MAGA loser every time. That’s why he endorsed McCain, Romney, McConnell and a whole bunch of other hacks who he later complained about.
Go back to the 2020 GOP primary in the Alabama senate race. Trump despised Jeff Sessions, but he refused to endorse Tommy Tuberville until late in the primary campaign when polls came out showing Tuberville with a large lead over Sessions.
Great body too
This thread is a tempest in a teapot
She did not convert though if I’m not correct..
Nevertrumper at trough
Nobody is throwing the baby out with the bathwater
But you can’t argue his endorsements and hiring sucks.
I hope he does learn because at this rate he is likely to be president.
Desperately want him to stop listening to Kushner and McConnell for making appointments and endorsements.
That’s where the bad ones come from. Guaranteed.
“But you can’t argue his endorsements and hiring sucks.”
I can and have and no one has responded.
Colin Powell v Mike Pompeo.
Game. Set. Match.
I don’t disagree with you, but let’s be fair here: for any presidential appointment that required Senate confirmation, Trump had absolutely zero authority to make those appointments on his own.
Lurkinan gave you examples of his endorsements.
There are plenty more down the ballot .
He does make sucky endorsements. No one really argues he’s prone to it..
As for hires and Pompeo what is so impressive about him?
He’s a former CIA director (recovering neocon) and totally part of the problem I reckon.
He was at least somewhat competent but that’s all I can say.
In relation to Secretary of state he also appointed Rex Tillerson who only lasted 18 months...
Prior reports have been that the vipers Trump has chosen to still work with have been in essence selling Trump’s endorsement.
Breaking news! Someone on Twitter has an opinion!
Makes sense.
They tend to big a mixed bag to say the least.
This one has upset a few folks....
Please note this does not make you anti-Trump.
Correct.
I appreciate the passion of those seven, but they were engaged in nothing more than political grandstanding that would ultimately accomplish nothing — and would also set a very dangerous precedent.
Tom Cotton was one of the senators who did NOT object to the certification of the 2020 election in Congress. His public statement in which he explained himself should be required reading for anyone who thinks Congress had any authority to “overturn” the 2020 election.
Basically, Cotton pointed out that Congress was only sent one certified slate of electors from each state. There was no competing slate of electors sent from any state. In the absence of this, any action by Congress to contest electoral votes effectively turns the U.S. into a parliamentary system of government where the President is no longer elected through the Electoral College process but is instead elected by Congress.
Rand Paul made the right decision when he refused to object to the 2020 election certification. The whole idea was ludicrous on its face. How the hell do you justify having a U.S. Senator from Tennessee objecting to the electoral votes from Pennsylvania (for example) when neither Senator from Pennsylvania objects?
Definitely not guilty 😁
Wisconsin STARTED the decertification process yesterday. It’s still an uphill (more like a mountain) battle. There are at least 2 more committees that need to pass the bill, and then there are court challenges.
Don’t hold your breath.
