An autopsy report ruled the death of Connecticut woman Lauren Smith-Fields an accident. But her family's attorney says they still believe there was foul play. Air Date: Jan 25, 2022
According to incident reports described by Rolling Stone, the older man said he was invited to Lauren’s apartment on Dec. 11. He claims they took shots of tequila and watched a movie together. Eventually, Lauren “became ill and went to the bathroom to vomit” before receiving a text from her brother, Lakeem Jetter, later in the night.
Lauren left for “10-15 minutes” to meet Lakeem outside, Rolling Stone reported, before joining the older man upstairs and finishing the bottle together. Then, Lauren allegedly fell asleep on her couch, and the older man carried her to bed and slept as well. Around 6:30 a.m., he said he woke to see blood coming from Lauren’s nose and called police.

Alcohol is the synergy for an overdose
The added culprit of note
Promethazine or phenergan is often given with opiates for nausea and added sedation
Hydroxyzine or vistoril or Atarax is a mild sedating
antihistamine
Taken alone antihistamines are difficult to die from

Where is the part about the used condom? If she was ‘out’ it would be rape.
Unless the drugs were forcibly administered or prescribed for an illness, taking them was a CHOICE. Bad choices frequently have bad consequences.
“just as they were instrumental in bringing about the crack-cocaine catastrophe of the eighties”
And heroin in the 60s-70s.
“Unless the drugs were forcibly administered ...”
Or spiked in her drink
A sad story, to be sure. It’s strange that the police did not notify the family, if they were able to determine who her family was. I wouldn’t say that there is clear evidence of foul play, but there is some indication that the police didn’t treat this as a crime. Then again, I think there’s only one side presented in the story.
You know they interviewed the guy. She's a Tik Tok influencer show they probably know a little about her as well. i.e. if they knew she had a provable habit, case closed.
I heard it was a Tinder type date, not a long-term boyfriend
I have to believe they reviewed their text communications. He said he was invited over.
Meaning there was no need to drug her if he wanted sex.

potency, and it's a real big difference.
Meaning if it was an Internet hookup, stay in safe locations and don't be alone, or take a risk.
Perhaps an ill-advised decision on her part.
It was and she invited him over to her apartment to get drunk on a bottle of Tequila.
What is a Bumble Date?
I want to know how many people died due to TikTok!
