I’m fairly certain the Navy wouldn’t use a helicopter to recover the ejected pilot from the aircraft carrier’s deck.

My comment was a Hultgreen reference. Ejected into the ocean, not over it.

I’m fairly certain the Navy wouldn’t use a helicopter to recover the ejected pilot from the aircraft carrier’s deck. Don't take it personal, but you are a 100% wrong. When a person goes overboard and the ship is doing ~30MPH+, they don't wait for the ship to come to a stop to deploy a liberty boat to pick them up..
