I could run several threads about how SOMETHING happened between my childhood and happily eating peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, to today where children have horrific peanut allergies, develop rashes from gluten and yeast, and how soy has accelerated the growth of female AND male mammary glands.

I get it, that we can feed the world. But what happened? What went wrong? And with all these restaurants offering Gluten-Free everything, and the explosion of organic farming and goods (which, in some way, has enabled some family farms to remain in business vs cashing out to ADM), people STILL scratch their head, point, sometimes laugh, and opine "it's all in your head."

I never thought that children of the 80s and Reagan, would wind up having more in common with back-to-nature folks (well...they probably dislike my views on abortion and firearms but that's for another day) than the "corporatists" of today.

May God grant all food allergy sufferers a break, and give them a reason for hope, Amen.

I don’t know about all cases, but I’ve been dealing with this to one degree or another since birth, in the mid 50’s.

And yes, I sure enough did hear more than enough “it’s all in your head” nonsense.

Funny how an infant all broken out with eczema can be imagining it all.
