That’s why the Bills should have not kicked the ball for a touchback. If the Bills kicked it short to the 10 yard line, the Chiefs would have had to return it because there’s no way they are going to start at the 10 yard line with 13 seconds left on the clock.
The Chiefs would have had only time for one play before trying a Hail Mary or field goal on the last play of the game. Allowing Mahomes two plays with three timeouts to get into field goal range was a terrible decision.

Exactly, it’s not just the number of seconds left, it’s the number of seconds and timeouts that are left.
Even with 13 seconds, that’s enough time for two plays that can go anywhere on the field. As opposed to maybe one play that has to go to the sideline.

Losing Stafford was very bitter sweet, we knew he should leave but knew we’d be worse for it. There’s a LOT of Lions fans rooting for him.
It’s been interesting hearing the narrative. We got Goff in return and a 3-13-1 record, where he gets a pass here (media) as it is his “first year at a new team”. While the narrative around Stafford is “no SB = fail”, yet it’s also his “first year at a new team”. Talk about two completely different organizations and fan bases.

Elsewhere in the news, the KC Buffalo game last night was one of the best FB games in history. It was really this year's Superbowl.

Last night was just one of those games where neither Allen or Mahomes could be stopped. All defensive coordinator could do is sit back and watch the magic at work.
