Start with criminalizing the WaPo.
In the case of Florida....it’s just a wild landscape where New York/New Jersey residents show up, and spend three to six months of the year in Florida....claiming they are a FL resident now....when they are playing both sides of the game. If you just hired up 20 investigators who compared voting lists against NY/NJ, then went for the max fine possible for the folks....things would settle down within a year or two. And I’d make it a $20k fine for each election/each primary that you voted in...seizing assets if they can’t pay.
Idiotic politicians answer to government fraud, failure and oppression: MORE GOVERNMET!!!!
STUPID!!!!
Not to mention that the Constitution gives the feds NO POLICE POWER at all.
But who cares about the Constitution? It’s only the single greatest protection of our God-given liberties and rights against the tyranny of the feds.
Anyone with half a brain who has an inkling of loving liberty would care deeply about preserving and restoring the Constitution as the Supreme Law of the Land.
If Trump was wrong about the 2020 election theft, and there’s no need for voter fraud police forces, then forming and operating the forces should provide few-to-no convictions. Why not implement the voter fraud forces and find out who’s telling the truth and who’s lying? Hmmmm?
Why would someone be afraid of that?
BTW, having said all of that, it wasn’t clear from the article that it was talking about state “Dept. of Election...” or a new corrupt and unconstitutional federal dept.
A state dept. would be fine - no constitutional problems there at all as long as the state remains a representative republic not a police state.
My initial reaction was because too many GOP do-gooders unwittingly or otherwise find “solutions” in giving the feds more unconstitutional power which is the stupidest thing anyone could ever come up with.
DeSantis’s new budget calls for $5.7 million for his Office of Election Crimes and Security. The money would pay for 52 staffers, including 20 sworn law enforcement officers and 25 non-sworn investigators, with field offices around the state. The team would go after “election crimes and irregularities” and have the power to refer findings to a statewide prosecutor.
1) All “laws” are enslavement and can be used against us. But it is not the nature of the laws, it is who is implementing them. In this case I think I am comfortable.
2) It is the leadership we should trust and elect.
3) There is no magic bullet to fix the mess we are in. It is a long drawn out affair, with many missteps along the way.
4) We need to declaw the central government, move power back from the fed to the state and from the state to the local.
5) We will always have to fight for our freedoms and responsibilities, there is never peace. And by that I mean you and I, not others.
Absolutly love the idea, but even with retaking Congress, GOP Rinos will object.
All of those traitors must be removed from office.
Democrat scum in Broward and Palm counties will fight this all the way..but they will lose.
In that the MSM will be the primary target of such a guarantor of democracy it is not remarkable that they should oppose it. The louder they scream the more attention they draw to themselves and their nefarious plots.
What do you expect from the DEMOCRAT WASH POST .
Left wing RAG .
Wash Post endorses CHEATING AND FRAUD !,,
Failed English majors like Dan have problems with math and numbers.
Which means it's a great idea.
Add random fake names to voter rolls in swing states to see if any of the non-existent citizena 'voted'.
Hire Brinks to pick up ballots from all precincts BY A SET TIME. Fraud is done AFTER people know how many votes are needed to" 'not be obvious', to NOT trigger a c a 'recount' or to not add so few there's a loss. This isn't rocket science.
Place cameras outside voting stations to count the number of citizens voting at every precinct.
$10,000 reward for turning in a person doing voter fraud of over 30 votes if there's a conviction.
And last but not least, do a random mail survey of citizens who 'voted' to see if in fact they did vote.
