A poem my dear departed mother wrote when retire in the Keys years ago:
"In" and "Out"
You must be "In" before you're "out"
That's what NOW it all about
But when and where does "out" begin
When does a cat cease to be an "in"
And when and where and how
Did yesterday give way to NOW?
No answer ... but that seems the way
"Out" tomorrow tho' "in" today
Ah well, I'll just accept my lot
And be a square, a cultural blot
