Anyone who spends that amount to go to any event is a complete idiot.
Had Alice Cooper tickets for a 2020 concert, which was canceled, and got a full refund. Saw him in September 2021 with no Vax card mandate and no masks required. Will always see him when he tours.
Yankee doodle dandy in a gold Rolls-Royce....
My last concert, I think I paid $12 to see Doyle Lawson and Quicksilver...in a former Baptist Church....where they sold wine
I'm actually glad you posted this. Maybe you can answer the question for me since this story started. What exactly is a 'residence' and why is it called that? Never ever seen a show referred to in this way before. What am I missing?
I saw Eric Clapton last October similar, no masks required, no vaccine security state passports, helluva show. Jimmy Vaughn was the warm up. Was already a huge fan, this really, really cemented it. EC and Van the Man are apparently on the same wavelength on this, would love to see him one more time, too.
Instead of doing a traveling concert tour, the artist does a series of shows in the same venue, a “residence”.
Allman Brothers used to do a month long series of shows every Spring at the Beacon Theater in NYC, for example.
It became a Vegas “thing”. Or maybe was a Vegas thing first, not sure.
Not sure..but they were rolling out the red carpet including a $30k room and a private plane.
not sure what celine dion got in terms of rooms etc.
I can’t remember another new album that got half the fawning attention that Adele got when her latest dropped in November. Coverage was EVERYWHERE, including an Oprah “special” with Adele performing at the Wilson Observatory overlooking Los Angeles.
It was the kind of debut publicity that would have cost hundreds of millions if she’d had to pay for it; hard to see a way that she get’s past this Las Vegas debacle without serious damage to her image.
taylor swift fans are making fun of all the Adele CDs that have been marked down and didnt sell. I saw some pics on twitter with a $5.00 sticker and there were alot of them unsold.
Don't care for Adele's overdramatic singing at all. When she first came on the scene though, 'Rolling in the Deep' and 'Rumor has it' were both fantastic songs. After that...
@ RummyChick
Celine has vax injuries, maybe even cancer as a side effect.
$afe and effective $$$$!
she looks anorexic to me..but it could be cancer. Something is very wrong with her
@ RummyChick
The jab can trigger cancer.
She is suffering from muscle spasms. That could be indicative of vax injuries

I wondered if she was having vaccine related issues. She has not looked healthy in a long time. Saw her Vegas show and she was outstanding.

Isn’t she the one who sang all those hate men songs, got favor with all the wokester’s leftist/femi-nazi’s man-hater’s...then had a bit of a leftist falling out when she complained about paying high taxes?
Beautiful rendition of Rolling in the Deep. The other two are interesting. ;) Thanks for sharing.
She is a pop singer. Her songs remind me of old r@b or Motown. I like them.
