Adele fans who bought tickets to her 13 week run Vegas run on Stub Hub are pretty much sunk for now.
It’s not exactly Stub Huh’s fault. It’s unclear when they knew she was going to throw in the towel. But I’ve talked to their people and this is what they have to say:
Adele didn’t cancel, she postponed. The wording — through tears — was very specific. The shows are supposed to be re-scheduled.
Until that happens, holders of tickets bought on Stub Hub can’t do anything. They can’t re-sell. They can’t get refunds.
This includes everyone who spent thousands and thousands of dollars– maybe up to $40,000 a ticket.
When the announcement comes, Stub Hub will give the new dates and re-assign the tickets. If purchases can’t make it on those dates, they’ll be allowed to re-sell the tickets to others. Stub Hub will waive all fees then.
But there are no refunds because Adele “rescheduled.” Ouch.
If you were one of those people who forked over thousands of bucks for one of these shows, there’s nothing you can do for now.
This doesn’t include cancelled flights and hotel reservations. Stub Hub has nothing to do with that.

More and more I’m glad I’ve pretty much deleted big entertainment from my life. I had a run from the 1970s til a few years ago but it’s over for me.

It appears performers are pricing themselves out of reach for most. Tickets for the current Eagles tour are $160, according to a family member. I got to see them on the last tour with Glen Frey & paid less than that per seat.
She has the world in her hands and she is blowing it up. I guess she will have to hold off on buying her nineteenth house in California.

One of the many rumors is that the tickets sales were soft and that is why she canceled.
You can be sure there are VIPs at Caesars that are hacked off at Adele. Celine Dion looks like she has cancer and isnt performing anywhere

Singer with super annoying voice. Interesting article in Daily Mail today on her vocal style best suited to the studio and not live performances.
We had thousands in concert tickets, music festivals, and travel for same when Covid hit.
Had no trouble getting refunds or credits for any of it.
Just sayin’.
The last 2 concerts I saw were Bob Seger & Van Morrison. If Morrison comes back to the area I might go, but otherwise, I’m done with the live-action.
i think this is about people who buy the tickets from secondary places.
I havent been to a concert in a very long time so dont really know how it works.
Adele has a history of canceling and not rescheduling so you take a risk buying secondary tickets for her concerts
I checked on getting tickets to a band I’d like to see and found out the promoter is requiring vaccine proof.
No thanks.
She has come a long way since Sarah Palin helped send her career into the stratosphere on SNL.
She is requiring vax for this concert and negative covid tests which also would contribute to soft sales.
Caesars even set up a tent for covid tests.
