That thing is leaned far enough over that you would think that, being in the driver’s seat, he would have weighed just enough to put it on its side.
I looked at the nighttime picture in the article and couldn’t figure it out either. Perhaps he was making a left at the end of a green, maybe yellow, or even red because she kept coming.

Prius eastbound Sunset, SUV attempts left turn on red from Allenford to westbound on Sunset impacting the eastbound Prius. Prius literally goes under the SUV while pushing/riding under the left turning SUV, pushing it back to where the SUV started it’s left turn to westbound Sunset. With limited info, that’s my take.
Arnold is quite short in real life.☺
Yep, it certainly does appear that she was in the wrong lane. The accident reconstructionists will earn their pay on this one.
Yep, the Prius is on the wrong side of the road. And, looking at all the pics in the article, it was travelling at some speed to push the GMC back and over two vehicles behind. No way the Prius was attempting a controlled U-Turn, but maybe travelling straight on.
Explains why the cops on the scene are in no hurry to ticket Arnold.
I’m recall one of the Williams sisters got caught in similar situation. I’m sure the investigators will work it out.
