Remember this Karen:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EGZUS6NG6u4
Do u read the word “donut” or “donuts” after the word “dunkin” in the text of the article?
Much as I hate to agree with TexasGator, he’s right. This extremely poorly-written article does set forth that this was a customer-to-customer interaction.
Check out this transgendering man terrorizing this woman in Hobby Lobby, wait for her comment at the end is priceless:

For the benefit of those FRiends who aren't from New England, Dunkin Donuts, often called "Dunkies" by the locals decided in an act of typical corporate marketing folly to rename the corporation Dunkin'. Maybe it was an attempt to cover up the fact that their donuts aren't as good as they used to be, or because they think people actually order their food for any other reason than to avoid starvation.
They should have just renamed it to Dunkies, that would have made new signs cheaper and appealed to their real fans. Or they could just make delicious donuts like they used to.
In this case, you misread the article. It happens. Guy was a customer, according to the report here.
There are so many screw ups: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4HDgjr7PIqQ
I'm sure his Mom bailed him out. Y'know, so he could go back into his Mom's basement.
I didn’t see the word “you” in your comment.

Brevity, I’m laid up and I ain’t got time to sit here and try to focus on these tiny little freaking buttons.
Ronnie is prolly pretty passed.
Maybe... and I don’t know, but maybe
Dunkin Donuts is called “dunkin” up in the NE USA.
I’ve only been up that way a few times and I do know that they love their donut shops in the Northeast. About as much as New Orleans likes its Popeye’s chicken stands every other block.
Great article.
New England readers have a better understanding of the context. Customers in a Dunkin Donuts, aka "Dunkies" store are there because they are either desperate for coffee, or really starving and couldn't find anywhere else to buy some food. That puts them in a naturally irritable state of mind.
Dunkin Donuts stores in general are not famous for warm and friendly customer service either, since traditionally New Englanders are cold, annoyed, over-taxed, and not necessarily in a good mood at 6 AM. So the locals reading the article would understand that it would be customers fighting, since no sane Bostonian would piss off the Dunkie's clerk. What would you do without coffee for one thing, and historically there would be a chance that the Dunkie's clerk would come over the counter and give you a rapid lesson in manners.
I DO SO remember that one! BUT...his wife is a doctor! LOL
At least he has his little soy boy grunge beard.
What an asshole.
