Many people are feared dead after a huge explosion near a mining town in western Ghana.
Police say a vehicle carrying mining explosives collided with a motorcycle near the town of Bogoso.
Police have not confirmed the number of casualties...
A large crater can also be seen beside a road.
In an emergency notice, police said the "huge explosion" had occurred between Bogoso and the village of Bawdie.
Rescue efforts are under way and people have been told to move out of the area.

Metaphor for all the fauxci loving covid karens on the motorbike, careening into the dynamite truck of truth.
“You’re not supposed to carry the blasting caps on the same truck as the dynamite.”
Back in the day the mine manager where I worked used to drive 50 miles in a full size pick up truck loaded to the top of the bed with boxes of dynamite and the blasting caps on the passenger floorboard.
I wonder if what really happened was something else entirely? Why would police be evacuating nearby towns if it was only an industrial accident?
Yep, I’d say it did.
Perhaps the blasting caps were on the motorcycle?
I always thought they took risk of fire and explosions far too lightly in Bogoso. Proves I was right !!!
BIG BADABOOM!
What else could leave a crater like that? I’ve seen craters that size made by dumb bombs (only in pictures), but the blast radius? I know nothing about these things, except for the obvious.
Looks like the truck was on fire before it blew up.🤔
