You may get a knock on your door by someone wanting you to fill out the info while they are present. It happened to my father after he threw his away.

I got a knock on the door by a census taker, the conversation went something like this.
opening door, “What do you need?”
Census taker “ I am with the Census Bureau I need to ask you some questions.”
Me: “go away”
Census taker: Sir you are required to answer my questions for the census since we don’t have your form”
Me: No one in this house wants to talk to anyone from the government.”
Census Taker: Sir you are required....
Me: Get off my porch” door slams.

Lol. My 500 foot long driveway behind a gate. That keeps almost everyone away except the sheriff at times. Our sheriffs are great. My dog set my alarm off once. My mistake. Hit the wrong button turning on the garage motion detector. Anyway, sheriff with a k-9 German Shepard looking across the gate at my k-9 German Shepard. Good guys had the place surrounded. Got home quick.
