Unlike the vax companies they have no gov exemption to block their liability. This was an independent decision they made all by them selves.
Forcing their employees to take an experimental vax under threat of termination means they own all the liability.

There are plenty of large corporations (with 7 New York law firms) requiring their employees to get vaccinated even without the mandate.
If the employee does not want the vaccination they have the option of quitting...that is how the court would decide.
