Whoa! BIG pics.
At first I thought those beautiful, long red tresses were the kitty cat. Wow, I thought, what long hair that kitty has.
Then I saw the tats. Not puddy-tats; just ugly old girl-tats.
That’s a big kitty.
My male Maine Coon made it up to 11 years old. Very friendly breed...would never claw you (just nibbling to let you know he’s peeved). I think he topped off at 22 pounds.
From what I have heard, maine coons stop growing at age 5.
This kitty still has 3 years of enbiggening and bulkening to go.
First picture looks photoshopped.
I cared for a lion cub at my house for several months. He wasn’t as large as that cat.
Well, maybe if you trimmed the cat’s fur they would be comparable.
It looks like a cat. I don’t get it.
What a handsome kitteh.
I’ve had 2 Maine Coons, and seen others, as they all came from a family that lived a few streets over from where I lived for years. Some were huge, the runts even bigger than your average cats. They can be loving, but mostly at a distance as they’re fiercely independent. They love to eat, and therefore love those that feed them a lot. We had one big white one, Tom, with blue eyes so big they almost looked human.
Tom was an indoor cat, but whenever he saw another normal cat in the yard he would start meowing to go out. And as soon as the door was cracked, he’d take off like a rocket and literally just run into them like a football player, and when they got knocked on the ground he would jump on top of them, pinning them down with his weight, and being so massive the cat under him couldn’t really even move.
If it tried to bite Tom, he would just bite them harder. After wearing itself out, the cat stuck under would finally give up and just lay there too. Then at a time of his choosing Tom would get up and slowly walk off and back into the house like nothing happened, while the other cat would run for its life and usually not be seen again for a good couple weeks . But there was always a few of them, coming around every few days, wanting to test the champ I guess. Either that or someone in my family was baiting them with food out there just to watch the show LOL.
Poo
Anyone can see hes a polar bear ...
My God, he is huge. My mother had a 24 lb. orange tabby, and he was all muscle, but he didn’t have the sheer volume of this guy.
It doesn’t look like a cat. It looks like a Lynx. Wild cat.
My sister had a Maine Coon orange tabby that weighed 33 pounds. People frequently mistook it for a bobcat.
Wonder what he uses for a litter box??
The bathtub...??
I’m waiting for the fall out of the NYT using the word coon especially on a white cat. Is that cultural appropriation as far as the left is concerned?
I don’t know what is more beautiful... that gorgeous kitty OR the young lady’s hair!!
