"But see what y'all didn't see was this," said Kane, who flashed back to the video, which shows him shaking hands with Sanders after the song was over. On the video, Kane can be heard saying that "they didn't tell me what was going on" and telling the audience "understand and understood, I want everybody to enjoy it, you feel me?"
Kane continued, explaining that the incident was simply a case of mistaken identity.
"I've done a lot of crazy stuff in my life. But I would never try to disrespect an interpreter that's doing sign language for the deaf community onstage," he explained. "No one told me what was going on. No one told my manager that there was going to be an interpreter. We were clueless, so when I came on stage and saw someone just mouthing the lyrics, I was trying to get them off the stage."

a terp, at a crap show... OK!
The guy doing the sign language is at fault.
He should have introduced himself to that 53 y/o Rapper
before the performance. Not everybody wants this activity going on during their performance. Some may be concerned the signer may pull attention away from the main act.
This is actually pretty funny. Poor Big Daddy!
It’s not exactly the safest occupation. There have many rappers attacked and killed recently. I understand the concern of having someone you don’t know near you on stage. Once clear, he did apologize and make good. I’ll give him that.
He wouldn’t have had this problem if Garrett Morris had been his ASL translator.
SUP KANE?!?!
Reminds me of the episode of Everybody Loves Raymond where it is mentioned that Ray’s brother Robert arrested a person doing sign language because he thought the man was throwing gang signs.
There have been deaf people signing and blacks see them (like at a bus stop to a friend) and think they are throwing gang signs, and attack them.
