I was in the hospital for three days before I got fed. And the attitude was VERY hostile. Just guessing here, but IMO there is a LOT a hatred for white people going on in hospitals.
I dont doubt the hostility but no hospital is going to leave a person with no food or nutrition for 9 days in the US
Btw...even 3 days is grounds for a lawsuit

In 1973, my then-husband (since passed), was hospitalized for severe C5-C6 spinal cord injury. He had good hospital care, but then was transferred to a local rehab facility.
I ended up hiring a huge biker with hostility issues to just stand in the room, arms folded. He only left when I was there (back then, family and friends were allowed in the facility). Prior to the standing of a guard, my husband was handled roughly, ignored and subjected to myriad instances of abuse and contempt.Once the guard was in place, that all ended.
We told everyone that the biker was his brother.
